Our team did win the Fuel Cell Prize at the 2008 Shell eco-marathon with a fantastic result of 3198 km/l or 9017 mpg.
After the arrival on Wednesday we fixed smaller problems and had many test runs which gave us the opportunity to learn a lot from the data logging. After the first competitive run on friday we saw a gap for improvement in strategy and fuel cell setup. Just in the next test the team made a big step forward and imroved the result by approx. 400km. So we could reach our goal to beat the magic 3000 km by using the the equivalent energy of just one liter petrol.
